Connect Workstyle to your AI.

Your AI can help you answer your questions, explain your results or draft a report. You decide what it can do, and you can disconnect at any time.

Before you start

You need a saved Workstyle profile and a computer. Open Workstyle, answer as many questions as you like, then save with your email address. Keep the private recovery code it shows you. Never paste that code into an AI chat.

Connect

Connect from a computer. Signing in from a phone isn’t supported.

• Claude: on claude.ai or Claude Desktop, add a custom connector with the address https://thefourlabs.com/api/psychometry/mcp.
• ChatGPT: on chatgpt.com, add a custom app with the same address, if your plan allows custom apps.
• Claude Code or Codex: open Workstyle, choose Let my own AI help, and send the setup message it gives you.

Your AI app opens Workstyle in a browser. Reopen your saved profile if asked, choose a task, and select Connect and continue. Workstyle then returns you to your AI app.

Choose what your AI can do

• Let my AI answer for me. Your AI suggests answers from what you tell it, with a short reason for each. Tick Review answers before saving to approve each suggestion first. Otherwise it can save answers for you.
• Let my AI analyze my results. Your AI reads your scores and drafts a report. The report appears in your results only after you approve it.
• Discuss my assessment without saving changes, under More options. Your AI can read your profile but cannot change it.

To change permissions, connect again from the same AI app.

What your AI can do with Workstyle

• Read my Workstyle questions and answers: your questions, saved answers and what you allowed.
• Suggest or save my Workstyle answers: suggestions for your review, or saved answers if you allowed it.
• Read my results for a personal report: the scores Workstyle calculated.
• Save a personal report draft: a draft report for you to approve.

Workstyle calculates the scores itself, and your AI cannot change them. Answers your AI suggests or saves are labelled in your results.

Review and disconnect

Open Your data → Manage AI connections in Workstyle. There you can review suggestions, approve or discard report drafts, and disconnect. Disconnecting stops future access straight away. It cannot remove copies your AI provider already received.

If something goes wrong

• Your AI app keeps asking you to reconnect. Reconnect from the same AI app on your computer, then send your request again.
• “This AI connection has ended.” Connections last 30 days, and disconnecting ends them sooner. Connect again.
• “You can keep up to five connections.” Disconnect one you no longer use under Manage AI connections.
• “A draft is waiting for review.” Approve or discard it in Workstyle, then ask your AI again.

Privacy

Your AI can receive your display name, questions, answers, answer sources and scores. Workstyle stores the suggestions, short reasons and report text your AI sends. It cannot read your chat history or your AI’s memory. Read the privacy notice and terms.

Workstyle is for adults aged 18 and over. It is for personal reflection. It is not a hiring tool, a clinical assessment or a compatibility score.
