Before you save online

Your answers and optional display name stay in this browser. If browser storage is available, the draft is kept for up to 30 days after your last edit and removed when the tool next opens after that time. Anyone using this browser may see it. “Clear this device” removes it now. No advertising or analytics trackers are added by this tool.

When you save a profile

We store your answers, optional name, consent version and time, creation and edit times, and code fingerprints in the existing Four Labs Google Firebase / Firestore infrastructure in Singapore. We receive your email over an encrypted connection and store a keyed fingerprint so we can check it when you return. We do not retain the readable email address, send mail, or use it for marketing.

The service uses these records to save and recover your assessment, calculate results, enable sharing you request, prevent abuse and handle deletion. Google processes data for hosting, database storage and operational security. Infrastructure logs can include IP addresses and request metadata; our app does not deliberately log answer bodies or codes.

Recovery and sharing

Your private recovery code and matching email let someone reopen, edit, share or delete your profile. Keep them private. Codes are shown on screen, not emailed. We cannot recover a lost code from an email address alone.

Sharing starts off. If you enable it, anyone holding your separate sharing code can view your display name, aggregate trait scores, answered counts and last edit date, including future changes. They cannot see individual answers or your email, edit your profile, or delete it. Only share with people you choose. Revoking or replacing the code blocks future access but cannot recall reports already printed or saved.

You can compare in your browser or give the sharing code to your connected AI for analysis. The AI receives both names, aggregate scores, answered counts and edit dates, plus the relationship you select. The other person’s individual answers and private reports stay private. Workstyle checks the code each time and does not store your selected relationship or a comparison history. Your AI provider may keep what it receives; revoking the code cannot remove those copies.

Connecting your own AI

Connecting is optional. You choose whether your AI can read your saved profile, suggest answers for review or save answers on your behalf. Report drafts need separate permission and your review before they appear in your report. AI-assisted answers are labelled. They are not a validated substitute for answering the questionnaire yourself.

Your connected app can receive your display name, questions, answers, answer sources and scores. Workstyle stores the answer suggestions, short reasons and report text your AI submits. It has no access to your AI’s full chat history or memory. Workstyle asks your AI to suggest answers only from what you tell it in the chat. Your AI provider’s privacy and retention terms also apply.

Connections expire after 30 days. You can disconnect from “Your data” at any time. This blocks future access and removes pending drafts from that connection. Saved answers and reports stay until you change or remove them or delete the profile. Sharing codes show only aggregate results and the number of AI-assisted answers; AI reports and reasons stay private.

Deleting a profile immediately blocks all its AI connections. Connection requests and codes expire within 10 minutes; hashed tokens and retry records expire within 30 days and are removed by daily cleanup. Public client registration metadata is retained so apps can reconnect. Disconnecting or deleting cannot remove copies your AI provider already received.

Retention and deletion

Saved profiles become inaccessible after 12 months without a save, recovery or sharing action by their owner. A daily cleanup removes expired records, normally within 24 hours. Viewing someone else’s shared profile does not extend its life. You can delete your saved profile and revoke its sharing code immediately from “Your data”.

Abuse-prevention fingerprints and counters expire after at most two days, followed by daily cleanup. The essential browser session cookie lasts up to 30 days. “Clear this device” removes it. The project’s standard operational log bucket keeps logs for 30 days. Provider-mandated audit logs may be kept longer. Point-in-time database recovery and scheduled database backups are not enabled for this project. These logs are not accessible through the tool. Copies that you or another person downloaded are outside our control.

Your choices

You may skip questions, use results without saving online, correct answers, download your data or delete it. Withdrawing consent means deleting your saved profile and clearing the local draft. Use your recovery code first if you are on another device. We may need information that verifies control of a profile before handling a request.

This service is for adults aged 18 or older. Do not enter someone else’s answers, private information or email address without their permission.
